What is wrong with the world´s best?

Updated: Sep 3, 2018

The main star of the ruling team of Italy, Juventus, is not delivering. Does the age finally get to this man and can he no longer perform as before? Does this mean it is time for him to step down and support his son, Cristiano Jr, and prepare him to inherit his throne?

After 9 years playing for Los Blancos, the mythical Cristiano Ronaldo made a shocking swap of shirts, now, he defends the crest of the italian side, Juventus. Like in all his teams he has been, it is expected for him to deliver big and he always does, but recently he has been struggling with it. In three games for his new club, he has managed to score an astonishing zero goals, while his son playing for Juventus under-9 category managed to get 4 goals in a single match. Not to shabby at all. For me, Ronaldo has various years of glorious football yet to deliver and will continue to be on the top, alongside his biggest rival, Lionel Messi. Right now, many things affect his goal drought, for starters, the italian league. This man spent almost a decade playing with the spanish style with Real Madrid and before that, half a dozen years playing with the rough style english football provides, that is fifteen years playing with two different styles to the one he needs to excell at right now. Despite calling him an unstoppable machine, he isn´t, he is human and like every living thing, he needs time to adapt.

After him being three years under Zinedine Zidane´s wings, he has a new manager, whose style of play is different to his previous one. Not only that, the team has completely different players, with different styles, lifestyle, and even egos, and when you add the portuguese´s ego to the table, well, it makes the table´s leg shake a bit. All this change of personalities, styles, and coaching affects him and would affect any of us, so no, it is nowhere near time for him to step down as a high competition football player, nor time to give his son the throne, all we need to do is wait, be patient, soon, he will adapt and lose an enormous amount of pressure, and when he nets the first, no one will be able to stop this lion, and the king will remain on his throne.

Is the man who got Real Madrid´s ticket out of the Champions League's group stages CR5.5? Or is it the one the got them through the round of sixteen against PSG and through quarter finals against last year finalists Juventus? That CR5.5 led Madrid to victory, all needed left to do by the team is win two more rounds after he eliminated reigning Serie A champions Juventus and the most feared trio in the world, Neymar, Cavani, and Mbappe. I'm afraid that the only 5.5 Cristiano has to his name is his sixth Balon D'OR loading after an amazing season with Los Blancos and taking Portugal, by his own, to the round of sixteen of the World Cup, and very…

That's right, he should be a swimmer! only then he can play without the rest of the team. Cr7 quickly became Cr5.5

His time will never be over until he decides to retire, he is always on the hunt for more success and glory, once he nets the first, no one will stop him. He has the heart of a champion, his nerves cold as ice, and the eye of the tiger.
